Create an AI Fellow

Studio walks you through a new AI Fellow step by step. The Fellow is auto-saved as a draft after you write its purpose, so from that point on you can leave the wizard and come back later. The Fellow only becomes reachable to users once you publish it as Public or Private. See Visibility for the full picture.

Pick an avatar. The image that represents the Fellow. The gallery shows the avatars available in your company.

Avatar selection step

Set the basics. Name the Fellow and pick the default language for its conversations.

General options of an AI Fellow

Choose a starting point. A blank slate, or one of the built-in purpose templates (Training Coach, Onboarding Assistant, Technical Support, and so on).

Define the purpose. Write the instructions that drive how the Fellow behaves. Role, tone, scope, limits. See Define the purpose. When you advance past this step, Studio saves the draft automatically.

Upload knowledge. Up to 20 reference documents the Fellow should treat as ground truth. See Knowledge Base.

Add Connectors. Plug the Fellow into the systems it should act on, plus built-in capabilities like screen sharing. See Connectors.

When the Fellow behaves the way you want in a test conversation, set its visibility and pick how to deploy it: standalone link, embedded widget, or preview link. See Deployment options.
